Tears of Joy

It’s Bobbie’s 17th birthday, but she could care less. At least that’s what she convinced herself to believe since both her parents forgot her supposedly most important 16th birthday last year, and then ended up throwing her a twenty dollar bill afterwards. Bobbie’s at work, doing her summer hire job as a administrative assistant at MTMC (forgot the acronym), a post in Pusan Korea. It’s a typical work day, and she’s not exactly in the chirpiest moods. One of her coworkers tells her to come with her…holds Bobbie’s hand and basically drags her to a huge room. “Happy Birthday Bobbie!” everyone and their mamas shout. There must have been at leat a hundred people. Bobbie broke down crying…uncontrollably. She tried to hold it in, but it was inevitable. Bobbie thanked her boss and her coworkers.
